About

Nicollette Haines is an employment litigation attorney who represents employees in complex workplace disputes across New York and Illinois. Before joining Greenberg Gross, she trained at several prominent plaintiff-side firms in Chicago and New York, where she built a strong foundation advocating for individuals facing employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour violations. She continues to represent clients in both cities, guiding them through high-stakes matters under federal, state, and local law.

Raised in a union family, Ms. Haines developed an early understanding of the dignity of work and the importance of protecting those who perform it. Watching her father and uncles dedicate themselves to public service shaped her belief that every worker deserves a safe, fair, and accountable workplace. That perspective continues to guide her today.

True to the meaning of her name, “victory of the people,” Ms. Haines approaches her work with both purpose and precision. She is committed to achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients, not only in the form of settlements or verdicts, but in restoring their sense of dignity and agency. Known for her empathy and ability to connect with clients from all backgrounds, she ensures that those she represents feel heard, informed, and empowered throughout the legal process.

Ms. Haines is also driven by a broader goal: advancing systemic change in the modern workplace. She believes that when individuals come forward and are supported by strong advocacy, they play a critical role in holding employers accountable and shaping safer environments for others.Ms. Haines earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts, Magna cum laude, from Dominican University, where she triple majored in Sociology, Criminology, and Corporate Communications.
