About

Brian Williams is an accomplished trial lawyer who has served as lead counsel in high-stakes trials throughout the State of California.  Recently recognized by the Daily Journal as a Top Plaintiff Lawyer for 2024, Mr. Williams focuses his practice on cases involving sexual abuse, physical assault, serious injury or wrongful death, and employment disputes.   Many of Mr. Williams’ cases garner significant press attention across major media outlets, and he is regularly featured on television and in news publications. When the circumstances call for it, Mr. Williams takes great pride in bringing needed attention to the important cases filed by his clients.


Mr. Williams is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious invitation-only national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges reserved for attorneys with a wealth of trial experience who uphold the highest standards of integrity, civility and professionalism. He has also served as a Speaker at the College of Trial Advocacy program presented by the Orange County Bar Association, which is designed to teach other lawyers the skills necessary to become an effective trial lawyer.  Mr. Williams is also a regular guest on podcast where he discusses topics related to his practice and managing a multi-state law firm.

In addition to his prowess as a trial lawyer, Mr. Williams is a skilled negotiator who regularly represents his clients in mediations and other settlement discussions.  Mr. Williams has obtained substantial monetary settlements on behalf of his clients, including multiple seven-figure settlements on behalf of survivors of sexual assault. Many of his most recent settlements were reached with some of California’s largest public schools, private schools, colleges, religious establishments, and police departments. Several of these successful settlements have been featured in the media.

Mr. Williams has extensive experience handling cases involving traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other significant orthopedic injuries/fractures. In these cases, Mr. Williams capitalizes on his years of experience with insurance companies and adjusters, using his expertise to reach the best possible outcome for his clients. Mr. Williams also has a deep understanding of how public entities operate and make decisions, giving his clients an advantage when it comes to litigating against these large institutions.
