Christian Girgis

About

Christian Girgis is an experienced litigator who provides strong, strategic representation for workers whose rights have been violated by their employers. Christian’s practice is grounded in a straightforward belief: when corporations, managers, or institutions abuse their power, workers deserve a fierce advocate who will stand with them and demand accountability.

He represents employees in cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, constructive discharge, wage and hour violations, whistleblower retaliation, and worker misclassification. Christian understands that for many people, a job is more than income — it’s identity, stability, and dignity. When those foundations are shaken by unlawful conduct, he works relentlessly to restore balance and ensure his clients’ voices carry the weight they deserve.

Christian also maintains a forward-leaning practice in data privacy, helping individuals navigate the growing risks created by modern technologies and corporate data practices. His commitment to championing the rights of individuals in both digital and workplace environments has earned him membership in the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Employment & Labor for 2025 and 2026.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he served as both President and Vice President of the Student Bar Association. His dedication to public service began through his work with Public Counsel’s Homelessness Prevention Project, where he provided vital legal support to people facing systemic barriers and instability. That experience continues to shape his approach today: grounded, client-focused, and uncompromising when it comes to defending the rights of working people.

Outside of his practice, Christian enjoys basketball, surfing along the California coast, and enjoying new live music.
