Greenberg Gross LLP Wins Jury Verdict for HyperDisk Marketing

COSTA MESA, CA (Oct. 8, 2013) – Greenberg Gross LLP, formed in April 2013, chalked up a significant victory in its first trial, as the firm successfully defended HyperDisk Marketing, Inc. (HyperDisk), a leading digital marketing agency based in Irvine, California.
The 9-day jury trial, tried in Orange County Superior Court in Santa Ana, California, involved the Costa Mesa Conference and Visitor Bureau (CVB), a corporation comprised of the ten leading hotels of Costa Mesa and two officials of the City of Costa Mesa.
The CVB, funded by a City of Costa Mesa Business Improvement Area (BIA) tax on overnight stays at the member hotels, paid HyperDisk to perform marketing services for more than four years. During that period of time, HyperDisk provided CVB with outstanding service, including the development of the CVB’s website, which won a prestigious Adrian Award from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
In August 2010, new management took over the CVB and subsequently sued HyperDisk for alleged breach of contract and fraud. At the conclusion of the trial, the jury completely rejected all of the CVB’s allegations.
